1. Use essential oils
Not only will you smell amazing but your skin will thank you for it! Some of our favorites include lavender, peppermint, rose, sage or tea tree oil. These are known to be very healing and calming for the skin. Apply a few drops to irritated areas twice a day. We love blends from Moss Botanicals, doTERRA and Young Living.
2. Do the 5-Minute Hot Towel Facial
As easy as it sounds just add warm water to a soft towel and put it on top of your face. You can use several small hand towels so that you can leave an opening for your nose and mouth to allow for easy breathing. Try to keep it there for five minutes. You can even add essential oils (see above) to your towel. This is sure to be the the fastest way to skin heaven.
3. Drink Green Tea
This popular leaf is consumed all around the world and has incredible benefits for your skin. It contains a high amount of antioxidants called polyphenols. This will protect your cells from toxins and aging.
4. Eat your algae.

5. Do self massage.
The Ayurvedic practice called Abhyanga is an essential tip that we want to share with people in the West. It is an anti-aging and keeps your skin in tip top shape. What you do is apply and massage warm oil into your body before you bathe. By massaging your body you are moving the fluid in your lymphatic system and this helps your body to release any lingering toxins. The oil keeps your body moitsurized, which is essential during the summer months.
